WedUploader Pricing 2026: Free Plan, $39 Premium, vs WeddingQR
Updated September 3, 2026 by the WeddingQR team
WedUploader is free to use. You get unlimited albums and unlimited uploads, all sent straight to your Google Drive, and nothing expires. Their premium package is $39, paid once. It adds a guest gallery, a guestbook with voicemail messages, a slideshow, custom colors, a custom link, event managers, and premium QR sign designs. You can also buy those pieces one at a time, for $10 to $30 each.
WeddingQR is also $39, paid once. So this is really a question of what each $39 buys you.
We make WeddingQR, and WedUploader is the competitor we respect most. It gets the biggest thing right: your wedding photos belong in your own storage. We checked their prices in September 2026. Their pricing page fills in the numbers with a script, so we read them from the page's own price data, which is the same data the page shows you.

What you get for free on WedUploader
Quite a lot. Guests open a link or scan a QR code, pick their photos, and upload. No app and no login. The photos land in your Google Drive in full quality. You can make as many albums as you like, and they never expire. The only limit is your Drive storage. Google gives everyone 15 GB free, and WedUploader points out that this holds more photos than your guests will take.
What each $39 buys
On WedUploader, $39 unlocks the extras: a gallery your guests can browse, a slideshow, a guestbook with voicemail, your own colors and link, event managers, and nicer QR signs. If you only want one or two of those, you can buy them alone. The gallery is $30, the slideshow is $30, and the guestbook is $20.
On WeddingQR, $39 is the whole product. The live gallery, hearts, the slideshow for a screen at the venue, video uploads, the QR design studio, and Drive folders sorted by guest are all in. Printed signs cost extra, because they are real paper we ship to your door.
Where WedUploader is the better pick
If you want to spend nothing, WedUploader works for free, and the photos still go to your Drive. If you want a guestbook where friends leave voicemail-style messages, WedUploader has one and we do not. And if you only care about one extra, like the slideshow, you can pay for just that piece.
Where WeddingQR is the better pick
Everything around the uploads. A few real differences:
- Your Drive stays tidy. Every photo goes into a folder with the guest's name, and the file is named with the date the photo was taken. After the wedding, your Drive reads like a sorted album for each person. Not one big pile.
- The gallery is built in. Guests see a live feed as photos come in. They can heart their favorites. There is a slideshow view made for a TV at the reception. None of this costs extra.
- Real signs, in the mail. Design your QR code in our studio, then order printed signs and table cards. We ship them to you. Nobody else in this category prints signs for you.
- It holds up when everyone uploads at once. Photos land on Cloudflare's network first, then sync to your Drive from there. So 40 guests uploading right after the first dance does not depend on 40 Drive connections working at the same moment.
The bottom line
Both apps get the most important thing right. Your photos end up in storage you own, and they stay there. Pick WedUploader if you want the free path, or the voicemail guestbook. Pick WeddingQR if you want the gallery, the slideshow, sorted Drive folders, and printed signs handled for you, all for the same $39. Details on what our $39 covers are on the pricing page.
